MAIN MENU: (Data has
been included for this example.) From this screen the user can:
1) Collect data, 2) Transmit to the PC or 3) Review the security tags.
Please note the special character for the Next Tag. In this example
a right brace ] is embedded into the Security Tag barcode to help
insure only a Security barcode can be scanned.
Also at a glance the user can see how many Security Tags and
Locations (Locs) have been scanned since the last download to the PC

LOCATION SCREEN:
The first screen after initializing the USER ID and Security Tag is
the Location Screen. A new location can be entered or if there is
data on board then the Last Location (Last Loc) will be displayed.
The user can also use the up and down arrow keys look at the
previous location data. |

SCANNING SCREEN: This is the main scanning screen. Please
note that the current working location is displayed in the upper left corner.
Also a TOTAL field line will indicate how many scans have taken place in this
location.
The 3 main entries for this screen are I – for Item, Q – for
Quantity, and T – for Tag. In this example, the next tag number should be
scanned.
As long as the data was not transmitted to the PC, the user can
review all data for this location. Also the most recent good tag LastGoodTag
is displayed. |

REVIEW SCREEN: Using the up and down arrow keys, the user can move through all
the records on the scanner.
If it is decided that an item needs to be removed the user can
do this. In addition to deleting the item from the record, that particular
inventory tag will be voided. This action is all password protected so a
supervisor can approve it.
